Programs
Our centre is open Monday – Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with the exception of statutory holidays & Easter Monday. We offer 2 programs…Infants & Toddlers. We understand that placing an infant or toddler in child care is a big decision…our team is committed to making this transition easy for everyone by getting to know your child’s unique needs and by promoting open communication. We love getting to know your family and making you feel at ease with your child care decision.
Infant Program
Full-time care for a maximum of 10 infants ages birth to 18 months
1:3 teacher/child ratio maintained throughout each day
Toddler Program
Full-time care for a maximum of 10 toddlers ages 18 months to 2 ½ years
1:5 teacher/child ratio
Program Statement
At Timothy Eaton Infant & Toddler Centre we support children’s learning, development, health & well-being by ensuring that our program is based on active learning, exploration, play and inquiry. By embracing the concept that children are competent, capable, curious and rich in potential, we support children’s learning and development by creating positive learning environments that foster the children’s exploration, play and curiosity while providing supportive adult supervision and promoting the health, safety, nutrition & well-being of every child.
